Who Run The (Literary) World? Reese Witherspoon
This woman is taking the book world by storm, and y’all just don’t even know.
Reese Witherspoon has compiled the best of Southern life, peppering it with all of that charm we know and love, and bound it up in Whiskey in a Teacup, a lifestyle book which she says contains “what growing up in the South taught me about life, love, and baking biscuits.”
In addition to the release of her new book, you will also find a plethora of other books Reese has chosen for her Hello Sunshine Book Club or opted to adapt for films as part of her Hello Sunshine Production Company (or sometimes BOTH!). This is on top of being a mom, wife, actress, producer, and designer! You can even hear her voice on Audible (she reads the audiobook for Whiskey)! She manages to do all that and still look stunning! If Reese were here, I’m sure she’d say:
Seriously, Reese, where do you find the time? I barely have time write this blog. I mean, some mornings I have to decide between eating breakfast or washing my hair. See this footage of me in the mirror deciding if I can make it another day:
We have all been there one way or another. I mean, besides Reese.
Hey Reese, could you fit a little visit to Auburn in your busy schedule? I’d be first in line. #goals
But, with Whiskey in a Teacup, we get the next best thing. Reese provides a peek into all of the ways that the South has impacted her life today through delicious recipes, beautiful pictures, and entertaining anecdotes. It’s like sitting down with a glass of sweet tea (or, you know, a teacup full of whiskey) and having a delightful convo with your bestie.
Seriously, Reese! Can we be besties?
Now, while I sit here and fangirl, come on down to the AU Bookstore and pick up your copy of Whiskey in a Teacup! (Or order it online here.)
